How to customize shoes Part 1: Materials

I have been customizing shoes now, for a little over a year. I find it fun, relaxing, a way to express ones artistic talents, and also a nice little bit of extra income.

There are probable a few people out there he would like to get into this, but maybe thing its to difficult or two expensive, or maybe no one would even want them to do their shoes. I'm just here to say its absolutely possible, and even enjoyable if you love drawing and painting.

Things you will need:
Angelus Paint


Paint Brushes, preferably fine tip ones and flat


Acetone


Shoes


Masking tape


Cup of water

Newspaper

Stencils/optional

Who do you think will get the best picture of the year Oscar nominations?

YES it's almost that time of the year again my, favourite day of the year (other than Christmas)...WAIT, no its not! THANKS TO the Winter Olympics! And don't get me wrong I like watching the Olympics, but you know I think I would much rather see my Academy awards. I tell you it's just not right having them in MARCH wtf???. With all this buzz on which movies might get best picture of the year. including the possibility of our first animated best picture of the year (Avatar). I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it, and to say the least I'm quite impatient..................

Apart from my little rant above on why it SUCKS that the Oscars are being pushed back to the next month, I wrote this blog to hopefully get some feedback on what you all think the best picture of the year nominees will be. Now I know they will be released officially on Feb 2nd, but its still always nice to here the 'People's opinion'.

As of right now I'm thinking of coerce the massive power house Avatar, The hurt locker, Precious, Up in the air, Inglorious Bastards, New Moon.... lol (I Wish) These are just a handful of some of the movies I think will be nominated. Tell me what you think?

10 Reasons why you SHOULD go to sleep at a normal hour

1. You will be well rested to do things and have a life.

2. You will see the sun, it may not be as fun as look at the stars....but its good for you.

3. Some Health reason....of which I don't care to know right now.

4. You can actually hang out with your friends again, they've been wondering why you never come over anymore.

5. If your under 17 your still a kid and under the strict control of your parents. (FACE IT THEY OWN YOU)

6. When you go to sleep late you screw up screw up your eating habits as well...ahh i can smell the pounds being added on already.


7. You can still party during reasonable hours... on the weekend, plus you don't really need to go to that party your friends have been talking about for a week, you know your just going to end up drunk and wake up in someones garage.

8. You can actually function in class instead of slobbering on your notebook. trust me I've done it.

9.You will tend to sleep longer when not going to sleep at a decent hour.

10. You Can end up with a weird sleep disorder...kinda like me, which probably answers why I'm up at 3 in the morning writing a dam blog.

My objective in creating this blog is to inform people about many different things, such a films, how to's, games, websites, and ext. This will be my first post and I guess I'll start off by Just introducing myself. My name is Litoya and I am a undergrad college student pursuing a film/cinema degree, with a possible minor in Art. Though film-making is my true passion, I have many other hobbies and things that I love to do, I would consider myself an entrepreneur of sorts. I enjoy all forms of art, and currently as a part time job I'm Customizing shoes, (I'll explain that in a later blog.) I take pictures for people and make films during my free time as well, I find it very exciting when I'm behind the lens.  


Let's see, what else do I do.... I'm quite addicted to the Internet, and I love going on random sites just to check them out. I read a lot, and am an avid writer, I have a few screenplays I have done which will hopefully be made into movies. I am also an avid gamer, owning a few systems, however I do not own any of the new systems, I'm kinda normally broke...what do you expect I'm a college student~ Some more random things I do to pass the time: Fish Cook Exercise Work on Computers Find ways to make money online Travel/ camp Models (any type) Read Fan-fiction Skateboard ......wow....
